As long as I could remember I always had power. Whether it'd be with family or friends I always had power. Maybe it was because of my once-in-a-generation intelligence that I was easily able to overpower my family and friends. I could use them easily. Control them. Overpower them.
Maybe because I was able to control people my whole childhood and this affected me. A boy dares to start a war against me. Even though I have been in this school for not even a whole month someone already dares to threaten my reign?
No.
I won't let this slide.

I woke up from my bed and turned off my alarm clock. I sat up on my bed to look at the time.
"Two hours left." I muttered to myself before dropping onto my bed and going back to sleep.
I then woke up again.
"AN HOUR LEFT!"
I quickly jumped out of my bed and ran to my bathroom. I brushed my teeth while showering and changed into my school uniform. I then brushed my scarlet hair then made a quick breakfast before leaving my dorm. I still had ten minutes to get to school. I woke up and went back to sleep.
Why? Why did I go back to sleep? There was no point in beating myself up for something that happened in the past. No use moaning over spilled milk.
I found Harumi and Akito waiting for me in the lobby. Tadashi was nowhere to be found. It seems that he realised his mistake and is crying in his bed for making him, my enemy.
"Morning Kaori-chan."
I looked back to see Tadashi.
"Morning Tadashi-kun." I said as I forced a smile.
It hurt my pride to even fake a smile at Tadashi but I needed to. I was going to make sure he realises his mistake so he can regret it for the rest of his life while I spend my life in this school and then become successful.
"Sorry Harumi but the elevator took a long and I woke up late."
Harumi's face looked angry. I did nothing to hurt her yet her face looked like she was angry with me. What? What did I do? Oh.
A simple mistake. A blunder that I needed to fix.
"Morning Harumi!"
Harumi's face then changed. She smiled.
"Took you long enough."
I almost already lost. I need to be more cautious now.
"You guys are like a couple." Akito said, mockingly.
Akito wasn't like Tadashi. He was more extroverted the exact opposite of Tadashi and was normal. Akito was good at sports and he's extremely athletic. He only barely got into Class A but he doesn't seem to be struggling with his grades.
"Oh shut up Akito." Harumi said. Akito laughed but Tadashi didn't. It was as if he was thinking about something else.
It irritated me how Tadashi didn't care about anything, not even his friends. He didn't laugh and just stayed mysterious. Usually, mysterious guys were attractive but Tadashi somehow made them less attractive. He pissed me off just by how he acted.

As we were walking to homeroom I caught Kaori looking at me but as soon as I caught her looking she would act as if she didn't. She would start a conversation with Harumi or look somewhere else.
I had told Kaori how much I knew about her and she feels as if her place in the school is threatened. I am aware of the power she has. Her brother is in his third year and is feared by most students. She would probably use him to fight me as he is her only source of protection. Once I beat her brother she will have no choice but to accept defeat.
"Did something happen between you two?" Akito asked. He clearly saw how differently Kaori acted with me.
"Nothing, just that we've gotten closer now." I replied.
"Do you know about Harumi's brother?"
Millions of thoughts raced through my mind.
"No."
My answer wouldn't be believable if I didn't know how to suppress emotions and fake them. Of course, I knew Harumi's brother after all I am the one who knocked him out. I wondered how he was.
"Well he hasn't gone to any classes since school started."
Shit. That can't be my fault, can it? I mean, he can't be avoiding classes to avoid me. He didn't even see me knock him out.
"He's been in the hospital the whole time. In a coma."
Those words stood out more than anything that was being said. I could hear almost everything in a 300-meter radius but these words made everything else quiet.
Harumi's brother…in…a…coma…
No. I didn't do it that hard, I've actually gone significantly weaker but I still am capable of putting people in a coma with a single hit. It couldn't be possible.
"No one knows how he got in that coma in the first place."
I now blame myself for overlooking this blunder. I truly have blundered. I let my emotions take over and I didn't think rationally.
No.
If I did hit him that hard then it's possible he might have gotten slight amnesia but there's no way a person could even process what happened if they were hit that hard.
When I did what I did, I got Harumi as my pawn to use. I will push that pawn and promote her so I could beat all my opponents that will come. It'd be more fun if I used other people to fight my own fights so I guess that will be entertaining.
"I didn't even know Harumi had a brother." I said.
"Same, I just found out when some students were talking about it when I was going to get a soda."
Well, this is helpful. I could access the cameras and find out where Akito went then find out who the students were. They would most likely be from the third year but there's no telling which class they are in. Harumi's brother didn't stand out; his presence wasn't even known.
Even if there are people who don't know Ikeda Shuichi, he is a dangerous man. His physical strength alone is on par with Shimoda's older brother in the same year, Shimoda Yoshido, the Student Council President.
No one knew his true strength but I could tell anyone's capabilities with perfect precision just by a few seconds of looking at them.
"Is she alright?" I asked Akito.
"She hides her feelings. We've known her for less than a month but we both know how she is."
I agreed with Akito in my silence. In less than a month our relationship has progressed a lot. We know how each other feels at certain times and we sometimes know what's in each other's minds.
Harumi wasn't like normal people. She didn't express her emotions instead she faked emotions and lied to herself. It would be dangerous if she lied to herself about her feelings and emotions so it seems that I'm going to have to do something about it.
The whole school day went past and I and Akito tried to cheer up Harumi as much as we could but she would only open up when it was only her and another person alone. If that person was me it would certainly be tiring if I had to listen to her so Akito seems to be the best solution. If Akito and Harumi got closer then that would make it easier for me.
We went to a cafe. The cafe was Kaori's choosing so this was probably part of her plan. She did intend to fight me with everything she had but I had no intention of fighting Kaori today.
It was lucky that I taught Kaori Morse code because I talked to her through Morse code. I told her about Harumi and what Akito and I were planning. No matter what she did, these days that she was with Harumi, she had gotten closer to her. Kaori agreed to work with me only this time for Harumi's sake.
"Sorry Harumi but Tadashi-kun promised to help me with the next chapter. I might be expelled at this point so we have to go. Again I'm sorry even though I chose this cafe." Without even letting Harumi say anything she pulled my arm and dragged me along with her. "Happy?" She said as we were at a decent distance from Akito and Harumi.
"Those nails are so long and sharp assassins would be jealous."
"I don't have these nails for you."
"So who are they for then? I'm sure a knife is enough if you're an assassin or do you not have it with you all the time?"
"My body is a weapon, remember that."
I was surprised that Kaori had gone along with my joke. I thought she would lash out or ignore me.
"Not a good weapon." I said.
We were now at a safe distance from Harumi and Akito. All we had to do was wait for Akito to work his magic. Once Akito makes Harumi open up, I could use Harumi's feelings to my advantage. If Akito and Harumi get close to each other I could use both of them with each other.
"Shouldn't we see what they talk about?" Kaori said.
"You mean spy on them?"
"Spy on them? What are you six years old?"
"I know a way to check on them without them knowing."
Kaori reluctantly agreed to follow my plans. She was hesitant as this might be a way to get an advantage but I had no such intentions. I could subconsciously take this opportunity but I was focused on Harumi right now. Kaori did have potential but I would have to be patient for that. Harumi also has potential but this was a perfect opportunity to gain some progress with Harumi.
I led Kaori onto a rooftop. The rooftop was at a distance where you could see Harumi and Akito but you couldn't hear them. This didn't make anything significantly worse because I also had perfect precision with lip reading as well.
"How the hell are we going to know what they say from here?"
"Complain one more time and I'm throwing you off this roof." Kaori stopped complaining as she knew I'm a man of my word. "Kaori-chan, do you know how to lip read?"
"Huh? Why are you calling me "Kaori-chan"?"
"You don't like it?"
"Like as if you cared what I like or not. I can lip read but it's only like 20% accurate."
20% accurate? That's not half bad. It can be increased in a week or two depending on how much of a quick learner Kaori is. Fortunately, fate has blessed me as Kaori is a quick learner.
"I'll tell you what they say and whatever you hear I say write it down on the notepad on the floor."
Kaori looks towards the notepad on the floor and picked it up. She then took out the pen she always has in her blazer's inner pockets. She always has at least one pen in her blazer.
"Why didn't you give me a pen?"
"You know the answer so I'm not going to answer that."
I picked up the binoculars and watched Akito and Harumi. They didn't seem to have an awkward atmosphere even though it was only the two of them. Then again, Kaori and I never had an awkward moment, that's the same with Akito and Harumi. I guess I never had an awkward situation.
"What's happening?" Kaori asked.
"Nothing much yet. Wait…"
"What? What happened?!"
Kaori bolted to where I was and took the binoculars off of me.
"No…"
