Gerard stood in Leonhard's health management room and watched the headers hard at work.
"Let's see if this actually works..."
*Dematerialisation!*
The two bodies broke down into their elements, and Gerard thought about the people he met in his last life. The closest in appearance to Leonhard was Luis, his best friend from his war days.
*Materialisation!*
The elements slowly twisted through the air, reforming a singular body with plenty left over. Bones, muscles, fat, veins, and moisture from the air flowed into the mix. The body of a man in his twenties formed on the bed before them.
"Are you ready for this?"
"If I die now, or if this works, I thank you for trying, Gerard."
*Transference!*
The world around Gerard twisted his vision grew more blurry with each passing second.
"He's dead!" A healer called out.
"He killed the master of the Research Institute!"
