A streak of blinding light surged toward them, its source a Serpentis who had sunk its fangs into Gerard's shoulder earlier. The assailant's eyes glowed with a fanatical fervour as they unleashed another spell of searing radiance.
"This creature? How could you trust it? It's an abomination! No other races can withstand the miasma and even our venom we are so proud of! Let me kill it before it corrupts you all!"
Reacting swiftly, the Serpentis warriors sprang into action. They intercepted the attacker and restrained them. Their powerful bodies coiled around the rebellious Serpentis.
