Chapter 2 - Leisville

The alarms went off and the ground starts shaking. Smoky black clouds hovered over the city of Leisville and within a second millions die.

The hospital bears no damage as the city of Leisville is almost 10 miles away.

After a few minutes everything seems normal except for the glow produced by the raging fire and smoke produced by it. For the government, It's just another attack. No one seems to care the slightest bit.

Ambulance Sirens are heard from a great distance.

Leisville, known for it's unmatched allure was now burning down to ashes.

This negligence is expected given that this war has been on and off for three and a half years now. I control my tears remembering the memories I had once spent with my elder brother Kaito in Leisville. Playing soccer and cycling on the pavement we were inseparable. But good things don't last forever.

Police came banging on our door one day, almost breaking it. They came inside and arrested my mom and Kaito. According to them Kaito had been involved in suspicious activity, which was far from the truth. It was the most agonizing day of our lives.

I tried everything I could to get them back home ,but nothing worked. The family which used to seem perfect, broke apart.

Both of them were sent to solitude camps, where every day more than twenty people die or some suicide due to intense mental and physical torture.

Five years have past since that incident, I miss them deeply everyday.

I wonder if they are still alive or not.

Holding back tears from falling and trying to distract myself from the heart-wrenching thoughts, I looked at the clock and it's almost time to sleep,10:00pm.

The nurses will come again to see if every patient is asleep and if by any chance they catch you awake ,drugs will be forced into your mouth.

I close my eyes once again, in an effort to sleep. Deep in my thoughts, within a few minutes I was fast asleep.

My eyes wide open as I feel water splashes on my face. The same nurses from last night are standing beside the bed. They look at each other and look back at me.

My eyes instantly went towards the clock, 4:00am.

The Sun hadn't risen.

"get up, we have to shift you to another room."

One of the nurses spoke and took the blanket off of me.

"where are you gonna take me to ?"

I asked, confused as to why would they shift me to another room when I hadn't done anything wrong.

"shut up and close your eyes"

says the other nurse in a very rude tone.

I do as they say and close my eyes. They wrap a piece of cloth around my eyes and cuff my hands.

I get a tap at my back indicating me to get up. It's hard to stand but I get up anyway.

Both of the nurses garbed me from my arms and slowly made me walk outside.

I just walked along silently. After a while they stopped and I hear a door closing behind me. A few muffled voices are herd from the room and the nurses take the cloth off my eyes and open the cuffs.

Opening my eyes I saw about thirty people in the room. All of them sitting along the wall.

Most of them were talking to each other and a few were looking at me, making me feel uncomfortable. I look around to find an empty spot to sit.

Roaming my eyes around the room I see a familiar figure sitting with a group of other guys. I tilt my head in order to get a better view of their face and suddenly I cannot believe my eyes.

This can't be.
