"Okay, doing good."
Watching over Hina, Ryker saw the faint spark of qi within her moving subtly as sweat dripped down her face. Although it wasn't quite the same as mana, it did seem to share some of mana's properties, making it perfect for practicing mana manipulation techniques. He would say that the spark occupied a space somewhere between qi and mana.
At this time, the sun was already beginning to set, but it seemed as if the trip outside had energized Hina; she wasn't tired in the slightest.
"Hm, like this…?"
The spark of qi began to fluctuate wildly throughout Hina's body as she experimented with controlling its movement. Soon enough, though, the movement became stable, and she looked to Ryker with an excited smile, manipulating that spark in intricate patterns that glowed on the surface of her skin.
"Yeah, that's it!"
