"Hu Long! Wen Xiaodan!"
Ryker ran forward, spotting the two of them in the distance as soon as Xia Qingge spoke up. They had definitely seen better days, complexions pale and bleeding from numerous cuts all over their bodies as they weakly held each other up.
As he ran to them, they both looked up with a hopeful look in their eyes, though Hu Long quickly shouted out a warning.
"Ryker, careful!"
Right as Hu Long's warning came, Ryker felt that familiar pinprick in his mind, and he instantly leapt back just as a huge cauldron rose up from the sands. A great suctioning sound filled the air until a heavy lid came to rest upon the cauldron, closing it for the moment.
"Hm, I was sure that you wouldn't be able to sense that in time. I don't think I've been underestimating you, but you still managed to grow even faster than I'd imagined."
