The sun set low on the Samsara Desert, falling rays tingeing the white sands orange. It was half a day after Ryker and Long Meiling had encountered the royal siblings; Ji Han had pestered them to at least watch over him as he healed, with Long Meiling finally acquiescing after he knelt on the ground and kowtowed.
"So much for the 'Imperial Dignity'," she said to herself, rolling her eyes while Ryker grinned beside her.
"Hey, at least he was generous enough to give us this Pure Yang Datura!"
The Pure Yang Datura was a medicinal herb well suited for combat power enhancing pills, though Ryker figured he could find a way to use it in a recipe somehow.
Long Meiling just scoffed, while Ji Han below them finally got up from his meditations. Although his arm had only taken a short time to heal, there had been some internal injuries to his meridians that he had to deal with, as well.
"Once again, I thank Fellow Daoists for their protection."
