Amidst the unconscious guards, Hina trembled, crouching with her hands over her head. All she had felt was a strong gust of wind, before all the sound around her seemed to go silent. Had the beating already started? She was too scared to open her eyes and check!
Of course, this was all the result of Ryker having Mini C put up a Sound Dampening Sphere before knocking out the guards, so that she wouldn't have to hear their cries. Not that they had made any, in the end…
Soon, though, she felt a warm touch, and she recoiled slightly before looking up to see Ryker crouching down and patting her head with a grin.
"Hey kiddo, why the long face?" he asked, to which Hina looked around incredulously. The unconscious guards lay groaning on the ground, while she could see the Overseer crumpled in a heap a short distance away.
"What… What happened?" she breathed as she got up to her feet. It had only been a few moments since she closed her eyes… hadn't it?
