As Mini C finished explaining the events after he'd lost consciousness, Ryker rubbed his chin, chains rattling as they clanged together.

'And that's when these slavers came and picked me up, huh?'

Ryker let out a sigh, closing his eyes in thought. Honestly, the 'being captured as a slave' part didn't bother him so much as the existence of slavery here, in the first place.

He'd figured that this wasteland was a hard place to live in, but was it to the extent that its peoples would capture each other as slaves?
