At the excitable auctioneer's cry, the crowd tensed in their seats, a quivering hush descending as the treasure house attendants pushed a large, gilded box onto the stage.
"A mysterious panacea that can save your life with a swallow, the Five-Colored Spirit Pearl. Starting bid at 50 high grade spirit stones!"
The gilded box opened up to reveal a small pearl shimmering in five colors as the light reflected off, letting out an immense spiritual pressure as it did so. There was silence for just a moment, before a placard from the crowd shot up into the air.
"1– 100 high grade spirit stones!"
"130!"
As soon as the initial bid went through, the audience exploded into action, shouts and placards rising hectically, and soon the bid had risen to more than 500 high grade spirit stones.
"... Junior Sister Cui, would you mind if I borrowed some spirit stones from you, as well?"
