Chasing each other through the city streets, Ryker and Xia Qingge darted beneath the rooftops, Xia Qingge harassing Ryker with a short exchange every chance she could. Although Ryker had now become the hunter, it didn't seem to stop Xia Qingge from looking for an opportunity.
Ryker, too, focused on finding an opening to end the fight. Turning into an alleyway, he immediately activated his Light Refraction, thrusting out above him where Xia Qingge hung upside-down on the rafters. She easily parried the strike with her dagger, however, lunging at his left shoulder and hitting him with a thrust as she descended.
Gritting his teeth, Ryker tried to make a grab at her, but she was already gone the moment her blade had struck.
