However, before Lilliana could get on Ryker's case any further, her face lit up in abrupt epiphany, suddenly looking at Song Xiu with an eerily wide smile.
"Well, Miss Xiu~ It sounds like we actually have quite a bit to talk about~" she said, taking Song Xiu's arm and leading her out of the private room.
"E-Eh? Wait, what are you–"
Unable to escape Lilliana's grasp, Song Xiu turned back towards the rest of the group, looking flustered. Of course, no one else in the room made any moves to help her, tacitly looking the other way as Lilliana pulled her out the door.
"Rest in peace, Song Xiu. It hasn't been long since we've known each other, but I'll never forget you," Ryker said solemnly once they'd left the room. He continued eating, of course, starting next on a plate of braised pork belly.
"Mm! This stuff's good!"
