Back on the surface of the Samsara Desert, Jamar bowed low along with his subordinate, black cloth still hiding their faces.
"Thanks, Jamar. And you too, uh…?"
Ryker trailed off, indicating to the woman beside Jamar. She simply bowed even lower, a trace of excitement evident in her voice as she answered.
"My name is Jaina. It is an honor!" she said, as Jamar fondly patted her on the shoulder.
"This one is my granddaughter. Speaking of, did Kuzon ever have any children?" he asked. Ryker looked up in thought, though he couldn't remember if Grandma Arisha had mentioned any kids of her own.
"Hm, I'm not sure, but we'll ask for you once we get back."
