Aurnia was slowly gaining consciousness when she heard the clamor nearby.

'What are those noises?' She thought.

She slowly opened her eyes, and though her vision was slightly hazy, she was certain that she wasn't anywhere near the castle. Her eyes darted around frantically when her vision became clearer. Then, the memory of the stairs that led to her mother's garden flashed in her mind.

'Aramis...'

Realizing the danger that she was in, Aurnia frustratedly thought about how to escape. 'Will I ever have the chance to escape? I'm weak, and I couldn't fight at all.' Tears began to well up in the corner of her eyes. 'Aramis, please save me.'

Her body jolted up in surprise when she heard the wooden door bang open. Although she was already shaking up in fright, she forced herself to look at the person who brought her here.

But her perpetrator wasn't the only one. There were four of them standing in the doorway—wearing masks to cover their faces.
