The following day Whitney felt sour in her heart. She was not ready for the commitment she had agreed to with her manager. She looked at Gracey and wanted to tell her to remain at home and not go to the party but thinking of how stubborn her sister can be, she swallowed it.
"Remember, don't stay too long at the party. Don't drink. You know our situation," Whitney still warned her.
"Stop acting like an old aunty. I am not a child," Gracy said. She felt that her sister was beginning to act like her mother. Whitney felt uneasy, she wanted to say more but seeing that her sister would not listen, she decided to swallow it. She was scared that her sister would choose to go against her and get into trouble.
"Alright, I know you are all mature and can make decisions for yourself, but Kelly is so young, and Mrs Vivian has a big mouth. We cannot let him stay for too long," Whitney changed her words. She knew Gracey loved their baby brother and might be more obedient because of him.
