Whoosh!
"Huh? What was that?" A big bellied man holding a spear spun around, surprised by the sudden gust of wind behind him. As he turned around, a shadow appeared at his back, holding a sword.
"Mmph!" The man's muffled scream came before his body fell to the ground, devoid of strength.
Daniel's eyes glinted in the darkness of night as he tucked the fat body in a corner where it would be hard to notice the missing man. The lower half of his face was covered with a cloth, while he had changed to some black clothes.
'I almost feel like a ninja and not a swordsman.' He chuckled to himself as he dashed from shadow to shadow. Before long, he came upon his next victim and crept closer to him. The man was just finishing his round checking up a corner of the bandit camp. Daniel snuck up close behind him before springing out, his fingers tapping specific points in the man's body at a rapid pace, before his sword came down.
He had sealed the man's Ki mediums to prevent any outburst of Ki that could alert anyone around. After nullifying that possible danger, he had struck down the man to permanently remove the piece from the board.
During the time he had spent training under the tutelage of the ill head of the Highsword Clan, Daniel had learnt how to firm his mind and be prepared to kill whenever it was needed. Right now, Daniel did not hesitate to cut down these bandits because of the fact that they were bandits. These people had robbed, beaten and done other horrible thing to other people, so there was no reason for him to go soft on them and show pity.
Daniel hid the body once again before continuing his shadowy deeds. Before long, he had crept closer to the gates where the two bandits stood guard. He looked around and spotted Han in a good vantage point. He nodded, giving the signal.
Han nodded and flicked his hand. Two thin needles flew through the darkness and buried themselves into the necks of the two guards, stunning them. In the next moment, Han and Daniel appeared from the sides, their swords held up, and beheaded the two bandits.
"Let's finish this." Han whispered to Daniel, and the latter nodded his head. The two of them dashed forward, heading straight for the main building that stood at the center of the bandit camp. They did not bother going through corners this time, but chose to head straight to it.
All around the camp, the only sound that one could hear was the sound of the cold wind rustling the tree branches and leaves. There was no breathing soul walking through the bandit camp. The only place where life still remained was in the main house of the camp.

"They are quite good." Angus commented on the performance of the two boys. The two assassins from the Henarion Clan had temporarily lost sight of Daniel and Han, but soon they found them again, just before the two boys took out the guards at the gate of the bandit camp.
"True, but they were mistaken if they thought they could get on the bad side of the Henarion Clan and make it out alive." Jay replied.
"..." Angus said nothing. He felt it was a waste of talent to get rid of the boys, but he was loyal to the clan that raised him. He kept silent while waiting to see what would happen.

Daniel and Han reached the main building and paused. They could hear whimpering sounds and begging inside the house.
"Shut up, you whore!" A grunt sounded from inside and Daniel's face darkened. He looked to Han to find the same expression on his friend's face. A few signal were exchanged and they split up. They did not plan to break down the door, but instead sneak into the house.
It was quite strange how the bandit camp was so empty, but it turned out that most of the bandits were within the main house. They were split up in various parts of the house, though.
If the two boys were to break in with a ruckus, then they would quickly get surrounded and beaten up. Because of that, they chose to sneak in and take out as many people as they could before getting to the room of the bandit group's leader.
"Hey, do you think the boss will let us tonight?" A man asked as he put his back to the open window. He was talking to one of his friends that was drunk off bear in the corner of the room.
"No idea, but he better give us something as compensation!" The drunk man laughed stupidly.
Whoosh!
The first man's body leaned backward and a black shadow moved into the house through the window. The body of the earlier man fell backward through the window and down onto the ground.
"Hmm? Darius?" The drunkard noticed something was wrong and immediately got up, fumbling for his sword. However, he was too slow.
Sllckk!
The sound of Daniel's sword slicing through flesh and bone was sickening, yet silent. The man's head dropped down onto his lap as he fell back down to the ground. Daniel's eyes were cold and sharp after hearing what he had heard when he and Han first came to the front of the house.
'Damn bastards! I'll make sure this bandit group doesn't exist by the end of tonight!' He cursed as he turned into a silent killer, stalking the corridors and rooms of the house while silently executing all the bandits that he came across. Just like that, he mowed through over a dozen men. A few of them put up a decent resistance, but he was able to put them down as well. None of them were too remarkable.
Before long, he came to a stop before a door. Han also appeared at the opposite end of the corridor that he had come from. A few splatters of blood stained his feet, but the darkness of night covered it well.
"Ready?" Daniel signaled Han.
"Ready." Han nodded.
