Lucian succeeded in making Gloria fall asleep because after seeing the strange behaviour her son displayed and him mentioning his teacher, she had been so worried. Lucian watched as she slept quietly and peacefully.
"Nothing is going to happen to our baby, hm?" He whispered to her and kissed her forehead before pulling her to sleep.
The next day, while she was busy in her fashion house, Lucian took his time to watch the school through the CCTV cameras and focused on his son.
However, he seemed to be okay and his teacher didn't appear to be mischievous. Lucian watched him until the day ended and left to pick him up.
Michael was happy to see him but when Lucian hugged him, his body was burning up. Nothing happened to him while Lucian was watching Michael so why was he running temperature?
"Are you feeling unwell?" Lucian asked as he stroked Michael's hair. Michael didn't answer because he was already resting on his father's arm.
