Another week passed. It felt as though time was flying very slowly to both Gloria and Mia. Mia hoped to one day enter her boyfriend's room in the hospital to find him searching for her but he was just lying lifelessly on the bed every time she appeared.
Learning how to cook had been going fine and she had been exercising regularly as well, she was healthy as she promised to be but Gabriel just wasn't there to see her and praise her for her hard work. His eyes were just closed.
Meanwhile, Gloria had begun to hate Lucian for disappearing. Although she didn't try to reach out to him or search for a reason why he'd leave her. She believed he'd show up just as she did four years ago. And perhaps he might react the same way he did years ago and never show up.
