"I have to leave before nine."
Mia knew he'd follow her because they were still discussing something and he definitely wouldn't let her go just like that. So when she was in the bathroom, staring at the bathtub, imagining bathing in it with Gabe, she informed him about the time she needed to leave.
"I was able to make you happy last night, right?" She turned to face him.
Gabriel was quiet because she ignored him earlier. He just wanted to explain why he was so childish back then but she made it seem like it didn't matter.
Every little thing about her mattered so much to him but she was acting so differently now.
Mia noticed his expression and smiled. She didn't intend to ignore him that way, she was just preparing to leave as she didn't want to be late.
