Lucian upset her but wasn't sure. He went closer to her again only for her to push him by his chest. However, that caused him to cough, reminding him that he was sick so he bent and groaned.
The attention he needed was immediately given to him because Gloria cared so much about him. "Are you okay?" She asked, bending to see his face. He was still running temperature, making her wonder about what to do.
"I want to sleep in your arms," he murmured.
Gloria frowned but led him to the living room and sat him down. "Give me ten and I'll be right back."
But when she returned with a plate of soup to help him a little, he was already asleep. Seemed she took more than ten minutes.
"Lucian," she decided to wake him up. "Hey Lucian, open your eyes," she tapped his cheek and waited for him to open his eyes after groaning.
Just as she fed him during dinner, she did the same for him with the soup and stroked his head.
