Lucian waved at Michael as the little boy ran into his mother's shop. Lucian heaved a sigh and smiled. Taking this slowly would be exhausting but better.
He could feel that Gloria wouldn't like the idea of him seeing Micheal. And the moment she finds out, she might flare up or hide Micheal away from him but he'd fight, fight his way back into her heart.
He was wrong to leave her in bed without waiting for her to at least see him.
Perhaps that night they could have shared a conversation and promised to wait for each other but he just left and dropped a note for her as if what they shared was a one-night stand.
