Gabe eventually gave in to Mia after she reacted by not speaking to him for a few hours.
However, Gloria didn't associate herself with Lucian for two days. Her action was bizarre. She shut him out of her life completely.

For some reason, she stayed away from all her friends to the extent she goes home on her own without Mia or Stephanie, Rachel, or Patricia.

She was carried without her consent. Gloria was scared. Her thoughts went wild and she, for a moment thought it was those friends of Calvin that came to get her.
