"Look at me."
Gabe faced his girlfriend. She looked his way after his command. "What?" She asked.
"Just checking your appearance," he said.
"Gabe," she called after a short moment of silence. "Why are you introducing me to your parents when we are just playing a game?" Her question was harder than some mathematics problem.
He was still looking away, thinking about what he should tell her. Although, he didn't know why he was doing that. He just wanted his parents to know Mia and learn to love her.
"Gabriel."
His mother's voice saved him. He immediately stood up and faced her. The old couple sat on the couch by their left, since the couches were around a table.
"Mom, Dad, remember when I told you about you getting to know my girlfriend?" He asked.
"Yes," his father nodded, staring at Mia which was making her nervous.
