Mia rushed her movement in the bathroom when she didn't hear anything from Gloria after her mother left. When she opened the door to the bathroom, she sighted Gloria sitting on the bed. The girl was lost.
Mia went forward to her and took her hands. "Let's sleep," Mia knew better than to ask her about what she heard.
Gloria looked up at her friend. "Aren't you going to ask me why?" She asked.
"I don't want you to think about it," Mia said.
"Thank you," Gloria forced a smile and followed Mia to lay in bed with her.
The next day, Gabe came to pick her up for her audition. When Mia checked her phone, she saw she had messages waiting for her. It was her birthday. She sat on the passenger seat, reading the text messages.
Her classmates, juniors who knew her, her sister, Gloria, Stephanie, Hans, Lucian, Mr Luke, and some other few people message her around midnight but Gabe called her instead of texting her.
