Gloria muted herself, processing what uncle Evan said. "It must be painful to not have your woman by your side," she uttered after it felt like the topic had died.
"Yes," Uncle Evan answered. "But I know she wouldn't want me to kill myself so I'll also stay alive for her. Do you wish to fall deeply in love?" He asked Gloria.
The question made her lift her head to stare at Gabe. "I have fallen deeply in love with someone but after today's service, I've realized that love isn't about being happy and overwhelmed. It's about sacrifice and pain. Love knows no good or evil and it's so dumb but it's beautiful and powerful. And yes, uncle Evan, happiness exists in it," she smiled at Gabe who was staring back at her.
She looked down, "It's also about letting go too," she looked at uncle Evan to see he was smiling at her.
"Child, you deserve more food," he was impressed and overwhelmed that someone as young as her could understand.
