Gloria stared at his face for a while wondering why she never acknowledged Lucian and how beautiful he was. She wanted him suddenly. "Don't get married," she said after it felt like the topic ended.
"I don't want to but I have to," he shrugged.
"Run away," she suggested and it sounded like a joke to him.
"That's a good plan," he smiled.
She felt proud when he said so. "But I don't have money to feed myself and they'll definitely find me," he explained.
"Don't get engaged," she grumbled.
"Okay," he chuckled.
She held his hand tightly when they approached uncle Evan's house. They returned the bottle and the rest before going to their cottage.
When they opened the door, the smell that invited them was tempting. "Oh, look who we have here!" Gabe announced.
Lucian tugged Gloria along with him to the dining table where they all stayed. "You guys cooked?" He asked, staring at the food on the table.
