When Gabe came to pick up his girlfriend, he had to pick up Gloria as well because the girl hadn't returned home since Wednesday. Her parents were aware of where she was so they didn't bother too much about it.
It was awkward though, sitting in the back seat, watching how Gabe touched his girlfriend's thigh as he drove. Gloria had to sleep with her earphone as she'd only be feeling left out, watching them.
The only time she associated with Mia and Gabe was when they asked her what snack she wanted.
The place was known to be Gabe's distant relative's place. A single man who owned a farm.
When they reached the farm, they were welcomed well by the man and his workers. And like every other relative, he talked about how Gabe had grown to be a man.
They faked their laughter so the man wouldn't feel lost. Eventually, the man explained that the only place he had for the six of them was the small cottage somewhere on the farm.
