Mia was keen to ignore her boyfriend but he was pleading in front of his friends and most especially in front of Gloria.
Earlier, "Punk, it's Gloria and not your girlfriend," Gloria had told Gabe when Mia left the car.
"Why are you with Lucian's phone?" Gabe asked, keeping his cool. He shouldn't really be upset with Gloria as she had been protecting him but he was still pissed because he felt he was indebted to her now.
"Because I'm going to kill that bastard," she answered.
"Whatever, just give the phone to Mia."
"She seems upset. What did you do?"
"Sorry? How is that your business?"
"It is, Mia is my friend you see," the girl creased her eyebrows. "I didn't kill myself because of her," she said with a low voice.
"Still, I won't tell you what happened, give the phone to her!"
"How about you facetime? That way she wouldn't be able to ignore you."
