"Won't she get upset?" Gabe asked after Mia texted her sister.
"No, she knows about our relationship," she answered and focused on him.
"I wanna tell you something," subsequently, he announced.
"Yes," Mia was interested.
"Gloria," he started. "Gloria was the reason why no one in school knew about my addiction."
"How?"
Gabe explained everything Lucian told him from Gloria's diary, making Mia understand what Gloria meant in the bookstore last week.
"Gabe," she called his name after a long silence. "Think only about me," she commanded.
"I want to sleep," he complained to her.
"You didn't come with your car," she said.
"Let's take a cab," he stood up and took her hand.
Eventually, they ended the day in his treehouse. "We'll be sleeping here?" She asked as they entered the room.
