His heart expanded as he hugged Isabella the tightest way he wanted. Her smell suffused his nose and filled his stomach. "I'm with you, I won't run away," she assured him.
"I know," he said with closed eyes. He really did have Isabella, he shouldn't be scared. She wouldn't leave him, right?
"You won't leave me, right?" He asked her.
"I promise not to leave you," she finally promised not to leave him. The fear that had been growing in Luke's heart about Isabella leaving his life, crumbled the moment she promised.
"Don't think about it and just stare at me, okay?" She uttered now that they were lying on his bed. She had brought light back into the room.
Isabella didn't believe that she could calm Luke down because the way he pushed her and yelled for her to leave was scary, she had lost hope in making him come back to his senses.
