Mia peered into his eyes after he explained, she blinked her eyes because she was falling asleep. She heard him but didn't know what to say so she just let herself doze off slowly.
"Should I give you a good night kiss, baby?" He asked, now rubbing his thumb on her lips. He was feeling sleepy too but with Mia's face visible to him, he felt he should stare at her for a while.
And when he didn't receive a response he lifted her face with his hand below her chin and with that, he pressed his lips on hers and sucked on her lip once. He then pushed back and stared at her face. Soon, he fell asleep.
Isabella had taken off her heels and lifted her gown so she could soak her legs in the pool as she sobbed. She looked into the water reminiscing on the past when her mother was her and her siblings.
