"I'll tell you!"
With her head pressed against his back, she let out. It was embarrassing, so embarrassing but Luke's emotions mattered more. She didn't want him to feel like she was tired of him because he mentioned it earlier and she saw how affected he was.
Luke pressed his lips into a thin line and faced the ground. He really wanted to know why she pushed him off but when he thought deeply about it, he never let out things to her until he wanted to so it would be unfair to always let her give up when he never does.
He unwrapped his abdomen from her arms and turned around to face her, "it's okay. I'm sure you had a good reason for it," he sounded so fine with it.
Isabella looked up at him. Her hands were still in his. "It's not about you, trust me," she said. She had said she'd tell him but didn't have the courage to so she waited for his words and now, he didn't want her to blurt those words out.
"If you say so."
