Mia took her tray with her to sit with Stephanie but the moment she sat at the table Stephanie was sitting at, Stephanie stood up to go and sit with Hans who was sitting with Gabe, Lucian, and…Raquel.
Gabe was facing Mia so he was able to stare at her and witness her image as he ate. He wished he could just replace Raquel with her and have lunch with her instead. Or he could join her and eat alone with her but no!
They were not together and he had forgotten about her. So he looked away when she stared at their seat because Stephanie left her but not without an apology.
Now she was alone at the table. That wasn't so bad, she told herself and began eating.
Only a few minutes passed before she noticed someone sitting across from her. As she raised her gaze, she beheld Patricia and Gloria. This caused the food in her stomach to burn her instead of please her.
