Mia quietly followed him, walking side by side with him. Soon, she handed her shoulder bag to him and gave him a cute smile in a gesture to help her carry it. "Stop being so cute, you'll make me do things to you," he accepted her bag and hung it on his shoulder.
"Shouldn't I greet your parents first?" She asked as they opened a gate that led to the woods. The woods didn't look completely like woodland, it was more like some pieces of land his father owned that were connected to the mansion.
"There's no need, when I'm bringing you as my wife, you'll greet them as much as you want," he answered.
"Thinking of that, will you ever love your wife?" Mia asked.
Gabe glanced at her and pressed his lips into a thin line. "We'll see," he shrugged.
"Why is it kind of far?" She asked.
"It's not," answered Gabe because he could already see his treehouse.
