The atmosphere was awkward with Luke and Mia sitting on the bench beside Isabella's bed. The doctor had tended to her and now she was able to go home with Luke and her sister.
Isabella was seated on the bed separating her sister from Luke. She felt uncomfortable but broke the silence. "Can we go home?"
"Did you even eat?" Mia asked.
"I couldn't, I just..." Isabella looked at her side and sighed. "You were coming home so I wanted to quickly clean your room but..."
With Luke realizing that she was talking to him, he looked up at her. "What matters is that you are all right now, let's go," he stood up and walked out of the ward before asking himself why he was still cold toward her.
He looked behind him to see the blue curtains and then he let his shoulders down. What was wrong with him? He scratched his head and groaned. This wasn't how he planned to talk to Isabella.
"He's rude," Mia uttered as she helped her sister out of the bed.
