After letting herself know that it was her turn to sacrifice, Isabella took her bath and went to eat the food she was already tired of consuming.
With that, she prepared to leave and visit her sister once again.
She had to get better food for her because the rice wasn't healthy for her condition.
Standing in a queue to withdraw the cash her friend sent to her, she met an old lady who couldn't operate the machine.
Well, Isabella couldn't resist helping her. And all her deeds were on record, she didn't know.
The other day, she helped a little girl with the only money she had and now; an old lady.
After helping, she withdrew the little amount of money she had in there and went to get her sister a good meal.
In the end, Hannah didn't eat because she had no appetite. "Why?" Isabella asked.
With a pale face and blue lips, Hannah answered, "I'm sorry, I know I'm a burden but I'm sorry, okay?"
To Hannah, it felt as if the energy she needed to speak had left her body so she forced her words out and took her sister's hand.
"Perhaps it's my time to die, don't trouble yourself because of me..." Hannah then opened her mouth to talk but because she was in tears, she almost choked.
"I'vve done my part, played my role..." And that miserable smile curved on her lips. "It's time I leave, Isabella, don't do anything for me." Her eyes were now red. Isabella found herself crying.
She took her sister's hand and clenched it tighter.
"How can you say that?" She let out a pout. "How can you say it's your time?"
And it was Isabella's time to cry.
"It's not okay? Dad left us, yes! We accepted that and then Mom couldn't also stay with us and went to get married again. You've been our mother and father, you cared and made sacrifices and it's time you get paid for your good deeds.
Please don't leave us and stop proclaiming bad things to yourself, Hannah. Always remember that we love you and there's always a way just as you told me.
You still have to fall in love, get married and have children of your own. Don't proclaim the end for yourself."
Looking into her sister's miserable eyes she sniffled her tears and whispered. "Please, don't leave us," Isabella added.
They stared at each other as if the world had stopped whereas Hannah was too weak to speak.
She was suffering from stage three cancer and how was she going to survive that?
Hannah knew her sister was up to something but sadly, she didn't possess much energy to talk sense into her head.
She was frazzled and felt as though something in her body was destroying her exclusively.
And all she could do was smile after a long stare, having a deep conversation with her sister telepathically.
"I love you, Mia and I do, a lot so stay strong. I'll raise the money, trust me." Isabella widened her eyes to prove herself. And again, all Hannah did was smile and shut her eyes close, expressing her pain.
"Are you okay?" Isabella pushed to her feet but Hannah was quick to nod her head. She knew she was going to die but her sister just couldn't understand and she hated that she was a burden to her.
With her sister's reaction, she sat down and faked a smile. "Are you really not eating? Just a little, please," squinting her eyes, Isabella pleaded.
"What's the use?" With all the energy Hannah had, she let out. "I'm going to throw up again." Smiling again, she said in misery.
"I want to understand but just can't, I'm sorry for not being able..."
"No." As if she whispered, she cut her sister off. Hannah felt terribly sick all over her and her lungs felt like they tightened.
"What's no?"
Hannah's smile explained her exhaustion so Isabella just lowered her head and sighed. "I'm looking forward to getting a job even though it's hard. However, I feel I'm getting one soon so don't worry at all. Everything will be just fine, trust me."
"I do trust you, Isabella, you are my sister." Then she asked when Mia would come to visit. Isabella answered that she'd visit soon as she had told Mia to.
Isabella left her sister at dusk and went to an acquaintance's house to borrow a dress.
Isabella believed that she needed to appear presentable and rich. However, she didn't expect it to be easy because she and her acquaintance weren't on good terms because of some past issues that were yet to be resolved.
After begging with her knees, Isabella got a nice dress and styled her hair to look beautiful. The makeup on her face was minor.
In conclusion, she looked sexy and presentable.
Isabella didn't know where to go. She wasn't a prostitute so she didn't want to go to a club or bar.
In the taxi, she wondered where to get a rich man, even if it was an old man. As long as he would pay her massively, she was ready to become cheap just for a night, she hoped.
Driving through the riches territory, she spotted a big hotel and mastered the name. She hadn't even seen a place like that appear in her dream of becoming rich.
Turned out that her dreams were just small goals because everywhere around her at the moment shone brighter than her dreams.
Acting like a village girl, she stuck her head out of the window, taking pictures and overreacting at every beautiful thing she sighted.
Still taking pictures, Isabella spotted a man staring her way from a restaurant. He looked disgusted but when she took her phone away to view him clearly her jaws dropped. He was beautiful!!
She admired him to the extent that she cried to the driver to stop the car immediately. It was Earth but the place shone as if it was heaven.
The tall buildings made her feel so small and then, she wondered how it would feel to be in one of those buildings and how it would feel to stand on the rooftop witnessing the beautifications of mankind.
After paying the taxi driver 50% of the cash she had, she ran to the restaurant that looked more like a hotel. No, it was better than a hotel!
When she stood by the window she saw the man staring at the lady sitting across from him.
His handsomeness left her dumbstruck that she wasn't able to even notice the woman with him.
And of course, not only his handsomeness did she admire. His appearance showed her how rich he was and how much he'd be willing to offer for a night with a woman as…Isabella looked at herself and sighed. But she never knew!!
Excited that she had found her helper or better called, client, Isabella approached the entrance and walked into the dim restaurant, feeling like an outcast but she knew that she had to do it. Until she tries, she'd never know.
