Even if Fiona hadn't been a submissive wolf, Davina wouldn't have responded to those heated stares. She would never have so much as a one-night stand with a female from her pack because she didn't want her true mate to feel uncomfortable when she finally found her and brought her home. Davina had seen how awkward it had been for Natalie to be around Sharon, and she didn't want to put her own mate through that. Natalie hadn't been heartbroken when Sharon had decided to leave the pack.
Davina didn't want a relationship anyway. Not just because her time was already in demand, but because experience had shown her that a relationship between werewolf shifters was a dangerous thing. It could make things very difficult when one suddenly discovered a true mate. Davina had no intention of repeating that experience.
"You could learn a thing or two from Fiona," Paul said. "She knows how to have fun."
