Chapter 48: Coin Tosser(9)
Time flew by, and no corpse appeared for the next few minutes. Everyone returned to normal once it stopped, but then with a loud crashing sound, another male corpse crashed to the ground.
Aakesh's face turned pale when he saw the condition of the corpse. He wouldn't wish such death on even his enemies; such was the situation.
Veera's face also grew flustered when he saw the corpse, but he soon masked his emotions.
Time flew by, and no other corpse appeared in the room, and the remaining ones returned alive.
For some reason, Aakesh felt disappointed when he saw only three people die in this round. He couldn't help but grow angry with himself for wishing such a thing, but idealism was idealism. He also knew that the lesser the number of these people, the more his chances of survival would be on the top floor, regarding whatever Veera had planned.
"Let's go!" Veera ordered and set foot on the stairs connecting the second floor to the top. Everyone could sense a slight coldness in his tone. Aakesh wasn't aware of the reason behind the change, but they were. The last man to die was one of Veera's most trusted underlings and was also very strong in the group.
As the group followed Veera, Aakesh did the same. But before leaving, he took a last glance at the floor. There were still some things left to search for, but since he had no fate with if there was an item, he gave up on it and returned his focus to the front.
Even though there were around ten people on the stairs, it didn't feel overcrowded, and soon after, everyone reached the top.
Except for Veera and Aakesh, everyone became surprised when they reached there. In front of them was an empty place, without even a hint of anything other than the air.
Veera couldn't help but look at Aakesh with a curious expression since he already knew about the empty phenomenon, so he wasn't surprised when he saw it, but what about Aakesh?
Aakesh noticed Veera looking at him with curious eyes. It didn't take long for him to guess the reason behind it, but since he had already been caught, there was no point in acting and putting himself in further trouble.
His expression remained the same as he took a step forward and suddenly touched a soft invisible wall.
Aakesh feared Veera, but if he wanted to have any hope of survival from here, he needed to grab the class first. Since things would go downhill on the top floor anyway, Aakesh didn't care if it happened earlier or later.
Aakesh knew he had been conservative in his steps, but he was also aware of things. He had the knowledge of the future with him, and he still had been listening to Veera's orders. It all came to this moment. Now that he had reached the top, he needed to risk everything to get the coin and unlock the class.
"Oh, I didn't expect you to know about the energy wall," Veera commented as he also extended his hands and touched the wall.
The next moment, a dreamy light emerged as it covered Aakesh and Veera separately. The next moment, both of them disappeared. The others in the group followed the action, and the same repeated.
The girl with the veil suddenly looked at the spot where Aakesh once was with an inconceivable expression. She then extended her hands and came in touch with the energy wall.

Aakesh found himself in a room full of myriad types of coins scattered across the ground. His face showed a smile as he was only one step away from unlocking the class.
There were tens of thousands of coins in the room, with each looking the same. Unfortunately, whoever designed this didn't expect someone with future knowledge to appear.
The fate palace belonged to a high-level divinity user. The invisible energy wall blocking the third wall wasn't for protection, but it was a sophisticated teleportation formation. It sent the people who came here to wherever their fate was in the palace.
Since Aakesh was here for the coin, and his fate was such as someone from the future suggested the class, Coin Tosser, the formation sent him here.
Since Manish had taken the coin once from here, he was aware of its location. In the room, all the coins looked the same, and Aakesh only had three chances to pick a coin. Every coin he chose would give him an unknown trial. Once he succeeded in completing the mission, the feature of it would appear in front of him in form of a screen.
If it were the unique coin, the screen would continue floating, but if it weren't the coin grabbed by Aakesh would disappear, leaving all his efforts futile.
Aakesh followed the direction left by the diary and reached for a cup. It was golden in color with a beautifully engraved handle. He picked up the cup and when he reached a slightly empty ground, he turned it upside down. The next moment, all the coins stored in it landed on the ground.
Ting! Ting! Tang! Ting!
Aakesh followed the sound of the coins falling into the ground, and as soon as he heard the sound, "Tang!" Aakesh hurried and grabbed the coin before it could mix with others.
His high attributes came to his help again because if not for Aakesh's quick agility, he would have failed to grab the coin.
Before Aakesh could even stabilize the coin in his hands, a suction force appeared out of nowhere and sucked him inside.
Thud!
Ugh!
Aakesh groaned in pain as he harshly landed on the hard ground. He then stood up and looked around him, only to find him in a dark place.
Aakesh's face didn't show any surprise since the diary had also talked about this. But when Aakesh heard a roar, his face finally changed.
