Chapter 5 - Dawn of a Bellwether

" AN WOUNDED HEART HAD FOUND THE DOOR OF CURE TODAY. IT FEELS SURREAL TO FEEL AS IF, PEACEFUL AND ELECTRIFYING AT THE SAME TIME.

I CAN'T FIND OUT WHAT HAD GIVEN ME THIS CHANGE TODAY. I FEEL TOTALLY DIFFERENT AND THE VIEW OF THIS WORLD HITS STRANGE IN MY EYES!

WHEN MY EYES ONLY SEARCHED FOR THE HATERS, I WAS UNWARE OF HOW LOVING, PALS YEARNED FOR MY LOVE.

MORE THAN FIFTY'S JOINED ME TODAY, WHILE NO ONE LISTENED TO SENIOR YUTO, A TOP-TIER'ER AT SCHOOL.

MAY BE DAD WAS RIGHT ABOUT MY FOOLISH PERSPECTIVE TOWARDS FLAIRS.

JUST A THOUGHT ABOUT GIVING IT A TRY, HAD BROUGHT A LIGHT INTO MY DEEP SELF.

LIKE YOU'VE SAID, THERE'S STILL PEOPLE WHO BULLY THE WEAK.

INSTEAD OF GIVING US TIME TO WALK THOUGH THEM, THEY MOCK AT OUR INABILITY AND DO THINGS THAT DESHAME US.

I MIGHT BE WEAK YESTERDAY, NOT ANYMORE!!!

THERE'S NOT SPLEDID TIME LEFT IN LIFE, LIKE I'D THOUGHT YESTERDAY.

MAY ME, I MIGHT NOT BE LUCKY ENOUGH TO SHARE THE FLAIR OF YOURS.

I DON'T THINK I'M A HEALER LIKE YOU! SORRY, MOM I CAN'T SIT STILL AND WAIT FOR IT.

I'M NERVOUS BUT I'LL GATHER MY COURAGE BEFORE THE SUN RISE.

WISH ME LUCK, I'M PREPARED TO MEET MY FALCON MORROW!

ITS NOT ONLY ME BUT ALSO THOSE FIFTY MATES TOO!

I'LL MAKE SURE TO MAKE YOU PROUD!

BYE MOM! "

----------

( Words flowed out from the tip of Stevex pen, who wrote the last venture of that day onto the diary emotionally)

Soon enough, he went to bed, feeling peaceful and strange, on the occasion of a new change on his perspective towards life.

_________

It was early in the morning, when the sun wasn't even properly risen up.

The sound of sizzling pans overheard the noise of tweaking birds.

A young girl hurriedly sizzled veggies and fried eggs in the wide opened kitchen, neatly presenting the food in trays.

The water from the tip of her hair dropped on the floor rapidly, making the floor a bit slippery.

She didn't care about it, so determined to prepare as much food as possible.

It was unbelievable how fast she was, since people with normal eyes can't follow her up.

" Fmmmfhmmm...."

" smells go...o...d! What are you preparing...?", sniffing the aroma of food, Stevex asked his sister while walking downstairs.

His sister Neily got startled by him, where she shrieked and bent down holding her chest.

" Ahh! You startled me...!", she exclaimed.

Stevex monitored the meal and got excited by the varities.

He hopped in immediately, filling up his plate with everything his hands reached.

" Are you starving? Please do leave some for me...", Neily said to her brother in a pleasing tone, surprised by his behaviour.

After plating the food, she joined her brother at the dining area with few more dishes.

She noticed her gloomy brother behaving bright and energetic, suprisingly enjoying his food to the fullest.

" Anyways, its surprsing to see you wake up this early! What is it?", she asked him with a smirk.

Stevex was busy munching, who didn't even take an effort to lend a ear to her.

" Go-young!!! I asked you what is it?", she asked again by a evil smile.

" Yaah! How many times do I have to remind you? Don't call me as if... I don't like it!!!", roared he, with mouthfull of food, literally scaring his sister with his killer stare in a deep tone.

Ever since migrating from his hometown Il-ton, Stevex never liked people calling him in his birth name, named by his maternal grandparents.

The tragic and bitter incidents at the past, made him grieve for the things he loved much.

He pretented in front of his family as if he hated all his childhood memories, restricting his family to speak about it to him, showing off as if he tried to wipe those memories from his life.

He never used chopsticks nor followed any of the foods he ate during his childhood days, doing his best to change over as a velpton.

It was his father's birthplace they migrated to, where he got not much family left, but his aunt and a bunch of relatives.

Whatsoever, he could never forget those pleasant childhood at his mothers hometown, where the culture and the way of living was totally different in his dad's hometown.

Neily inspite of crying, shrieked in extreme rage upon his hostile conversation early in the morning.

" Well, who cares about a lone wolf? I want the money you borrowed by tomorrow. I can no longer wait, as it been a month since you borrowed saying you would return it by a week. Tomorrow, okay!!!", smiling bright as a foolish jerk, Neily took her plates and walked to the kitchen, warning Stevex by a strong tap on his shoulder.

Stevex could only sigh, for not being cautious enough on the affairs of sibling.

There can't be an angelic soul as them, who would turn into a complete foe when it comes to argument.

Not unable to win against his so- called sister, Stevex walked out of his house to meet his new venture as a falconer.

Before Mr. Venesson raised from his bed, they both walked to school early, in the wet roads accompanied by the bioluminicent birds.

" If I go school early, there's a reasin since I'm incharge of arranging seats for the Full Bloom Arena. Why would you?", Neily shamelessly asked Stevex once again, getting stared back by him mockingly.

The mocking stare made her feel ashamed, as she was the one who yelled as if not interested in his life.
