Kehlan's POV.
I couldn't believe i saw a smirk on his face , my own father smirking at my worst situation .He was enjoying it instead of feling pity and stand by my side and help me get the man i love but he was mocking me by laughing sarcastically.
I observed as he moved from me and walked back upstairs pass my mother who stood there like striken by thunder not knowing what to do , i understood her reasons as to why she didn't even step in between me and my father , because she's his wife and defy him on his strict decision would be a problem to her .
" Don't let her leave the house " my father shouted and i knew it was the order directed to my mother whom stood frozed untill he disappeared . My mom came rushing to me and pulled ne into a tight hug , am always his lovely princess but how could he freak out like that and speak bitter words toward me .
" Don't mind his word , he doesn't mean it " my mom's words came through my ears as she was till in embrace with me . I know she was trying to comforting me but somepart of what my father said was true , i knew it was hard for Willy to trust and love again after that damn bitch did to him but he lived past her and loved me.
I made him fall in love with me and made him mine untill that wretched man snatcher appered and married her but he didn't love her either , he was still mine and everything was well until when she disappeared , that woman has a curse and bewitching power because since then i started to lose my Willy .
I wish that she's dead and he took care of her body because i can't ley her have him , if i can't have William as mine then no woman can .
But father is wrong saying i should find my own man because Willy is mine and i will prove that to dad that whatever he said today was wrong .
"William loves me mom , right ?" i asked my mother who stiod all way supporting me wuth everything i ever wanted especially William , and she nodded on my shoulder as my tears rolled down my cheeks and made my hug tight around her .
" Just stay here for a time when your dad calms down you'll go back my dear " my mother spoke as she moved away breaking the hug and held my hands with her one hand while the other rubbed my tears and i nodded with my head as she pulled me back to her warm embrace .

Joel walked to his father's office after being told that he had no meeting and had no one on his office because he respects him and his work just as he does to him .
He knocked and his Father's deep voice welcomed him inside , " Come in " and he walked right inside with a smile that was well reciprocated by his dad's smile too , they usually get along .
" Hey son " Mr. Wings spoke resting his chin on his hands that closed together standing in his table and Joel smiled wider , " How are you dad " he replied as he took a seat infront of him .
" Are you busy ?" Joel asked and his dad shaked his head deny his statement and Joel relaxed knowing that he doesn't disturb him with his works " .
" Am good son , how about you ?" Mr . Wings asked despite knowing that he was doing fine but he wanted to be sure by hearing it from him.
" Am good as you can see dad " he replied spreading his hands and his dad smirked , his son was so proud of himself just like himself , like they say Like father like son .
" We haven't had our fatger son talk for a while now son " Mr. Wings started another conversation and Joel nodded agreeing to his father saying .
" But am here dad , we can have that moment now " Joel stated and his father smiled , he knew that his son became so busy ever since when he handed him his whole business and left with one to deal with but still he hoped that their relationship won't be destroyed by work between them .
" For that moment pick the whole day som , i ould golfing and play other games with you while we have oyr chit chat like a father - son day you know " he added ti his interest .
" I understand dad and i would gladly do so just tell me qhen you'll be free and on mood and o shall comply " Joel responded with all duo respect toward him and that made his dad happy on the thought that he gave his priorities and interest the first place before his .
" Thanks so much for the concern but i know you're so bust so just maje a schedule on your accordings an i shall comply and that's an order " Mr. Wing spoke and both laughed for he knew Joel would want to crash his dcision and since he gave it as order he can't resist it eitherand so laughs fulled the atmosphere and made it warm .
" For what i called you here for is about Sarah Jones " Mr. wings spoke and Joel's eyes sharpened , he gazed at his father trying to find whatever he wanted ti tell him before he could say it but he gave the unreadable expression.
" For the all characters i chose her for you my boy " he added and Joel stiffned , he knew this would come but did not ecoect it to be sooner like now , since he never brought a girl at home and his father wanted him to be married moreover have grandchildrens but he was delaying the whole process and whoring around womens.
" But dad i have a woman already " he decided to challenge his father on this since his heart has been beating in a different rhythm ever since he met one woman and he was so willing to let his father know about her rather than being compacted to another woman .
"And who's it ? " his father asked leaning backward to his seat and he sighed because he might not accept her or may be warn him about her , he knew his father's preferences were on his strict interests and he has to follow them then he has to leave a lot of his interest behind him .
" Morgan Robinson " he said and silence lingered on the room as hus Father's eyes bore onto his like was travelling down to his soul and tried ti read everyemotion he felt . Mr. wings sighed before moving his hand on the side drower and pulled an envelope from it and passed it to him , Joel stopped it by his fingers , his eyes still on his .
" Open it " Mr. Wings spoke with a deep ordering voice and Joel picked the envelope and opened it to find two sized photos of a girl and he placed it on the table .
One photo was of Morgan and the other was of a brunnette with deep brown hairs , cestial nose , round like eyes mound kind , fair white skin , pale light pink lips, she had a long beautiful face and yes she was beautiful than Morgan , and her phillipine like features added to her beauty .
Her body was well curved with a mid height , Joel's eyes looked and observed her clearly and looked back to his father's face and he was serious like hell . " Is she the one ?" Mr. Wings asked pointing to Morgan's photo and Joel nodded .
Mr. Wings scoffed and then leaned foward with his till serious face , " Listen here son , it might be love and something that you never got from any other woman before that's undeniable but you should focus with a lot when looking for a person to spend a life with " he said and Joel gulped knowing where this was going , he would tell him to dump his girlfriend .
" You have to take someone who can support you , stand by you and make a life with you , take into consideration of intelligence , competence and smartness of a woman while seeking for a life partner and Morgan isn't in any of those " he added and Joel frowned .
" I want to marry her dad " Joel stated and his father scoffed while leaning back on his seat his lips smirked and he seemed to be annoyed instantly .
" Are you insane ?" he asked his son and Joel flinched , " Well i hope your not as stupid as you put yourself to be , you shall get to know Sarah and i believe you shall love her as much as she will and about Morgan , i want you to be carefull with her son , trust me when i say she isn't as good as you claim "
He said and went back on his closed PC , as his hands opened it and went on typing the works he was doing . Joel knew whatever his father trued to warn him about was true and there are some stuffs he knows that he doesn't but his heart screamed for the love he had built for the woman he loves , Morgan moreover he had already engaged her .
He wanted to tell this to his father before and his plans of marrying her but he came before his plans , Joel knew his father qould never denie him of anything but also warn him of things tgat might hurt ar destroy his life , and for where this was going he would step in if he finds more convincing evidence that Morgan isn't a good girl while he sees her as one good woman .
" I will be going Father " Joel spoke as he stood up and composed himself , Mr . Wings raised his head and looked at his son before releasing a heavy sigh , " Think about what i told you and juat kniw i won't sit and watch a woman ruin your life " he spoke and burried himself in his worls again , while Joel nodded and walked to the door .
