As the monsters drew closer, it became evident that there were two of them coming from opposing sides of the swamp.
Running into the safety of the mangrove trees was out of the question as it would only delay the inevitable. Besides, our stamina would only keep depleting if we wasted it by trying to escape.
What we needed to do right now was to conserve our energy and to even gather more mana.
