As my slashing of his tentacles continued, I could see how slow it takes for Kraken to regenerate.
This might be because even though he could regenerate, he still felt pain whenever I swung my sword on his tentacles.
It looks like Kraken was finally giving up on regenerating his tentacles. He seems to be tired of feeling more excruciating pain right after he heals himself as well.
Regardless of whatever it was, I aimed my sword toward Kraken's temple.
Now, he will have no choice but to admit that the champion of this battle is me.
"Stop!!" King Neptune ordered.
My sword edge was just a few inches from penetrating the head of Kraken.
"The battle is over. You won the match. Please, let him live," King Neptune implored, with his voice not concealing the saddened tone he had.
It didn't feel like he was disappointed by Kraken, instead, it felt like he just didn't want to see Kraken die and I understood the reason why this is so.
