Cassy hoped so too, otherwise her plan not only to be housed and learn how to develop her powers, but also to find this strongest Warrior would be ruined.
But even though she had no idea about her potential, she was still confident.
Her parents had always told her that she was really unique and tomorrow she would finally find out how unique she was.
And well, this Divine Mage System wouldn't have chosen her if she had no potential at all.
So Cassy said to her, "I hope so too… Tell me Paige, how many different levels are there?"
Paige then quickly told her, "See that store on the corner over there, that's my mom's store, so if you want I could take more time to explain everything to you once we're settled."
When Paige saw that Cassy seemed kind of disappointed she told her right away, "Well, I can still give you a quick answer to your question.
There are 10 levels in all, but those with a potential of level 8 and 9 are almost non-existent, and on Astoria there is no Mage with a potential of level 10."
Cassy was starting to get sweaty hands now that she knew she was arriving at her mother's store, and she couldn't help but feel a little anxious.
She didn't pay much attention to what Paige was telling her, and so to calm herself down she remembered that she could always use her white flame to help her mother with the magic herbs in her store.
She then felt Paige squeeze her hand a little tighter and she told her, "Don't worry, I promise, my mother is an angel, it's going to be fine."
And as they finally arrived in front of the store that was called 'A Thousand and One Magic Herbs', Paige said to her, "Wait for me here I'll be right back."
Paige disappeared inside the store and Cassy took the opportunity to look through the window.
There really were a lot of different magic herbs, and the store seemed really big, about 100m2 she would say, which seemed really huge for a store that only sold magic herbs.
And her mother's store must have been doing really well because she could see a lot of customers inside, and apparently there was also a second floor because she had seen Paige disappear up a staircase leading up to it.
It was also possible that the second floor served as their home, it was something very common in her home world.
So while she was waiting for Paige to come back, she took the opportunity to take a closer look at the magic herbs that were displayed in the window in front of her.
And she noticed that they were all level 5, 6 and 7 which was really extraordinary because if the level of the magic herbs was the same as the potential of the mages, then they must be rare and expensive.
Cassy stopped watching through the store window only when the front door of the store opened again, and she could see that the customers who were leaving seemed very satisfied.
Paige came out shortly after, bringing her a damp cloth and shoes as promised, and Cassy was really delighted to be able to clean her feet a little bit first before putting on the shoes Paige had brought back to her, and so she thanked her warmly.
She was also relieved to see that Paige wasn't mistaken and that their feet were really of the same size because these shoes fit her perfectly.
Then, Paige motioned her to follow her and she gave her back her tree bark with her magic herbs that she had held while she was cleaning her feet and put on the shoes she had brought.
Paige was also very happy that they fit her well, and she reassured her again saying that she should not worry and that her mother would love and buy her magic herbs without even hesitating.
So Cassy followed her inside the store with a lighter heart, because if her mother was as warm and caring as Paige was, she didn't doubt for a second that she would be well received.
And when she entered the store, she was immediately assailed by all the aromatic smells that were emitted from all these magic herbs, but far from being unpleasant, this smell was soothing and gave an impression of well being.
Paige then led her near the central display and she told her to wait here while she told her mother about her.
She saw her leave towards a corner of the store where there was a woman who seemed to be just 30 years old and who looked like her like two drops of water.
They had the same long golden curly hair, the same green emerald eyes and the same angelic face.
They could have passed for sisters but something in her attitude told her that it was Paige's mother who was there.
She saw them talking together and her mother then left to talk to a person who seemed to be one of her employees.
Cassy, who didn't want to seem indiscreet, looked curiously at what was in the central display, and she widened her eyes in surprise when she realized that all the magic herbs that were inside it, protected by a glass that was rather thick, had a whitish aura around them.
She then heard Paige call her name and she immediately came back to her senses and turned around to smile at her.
Paige was accompanied by her mother who introduced herself and told her to simply call her Carol and she invited her to go upstairs so she could get to know her better.
Carol, even though Paige had told her that the magic herbs Cassy found were already mature and of high quality, was still stunned when she saw it with her own her eyes.
With one look she could tell that Paige was right, and that all the magic herbs in her tree bark were really of high quality, and it couldn't be just a coincidence… This girl was definitely special, couldn't help but think Carol.
