Chapter 10 - Meet For The Second Time

On arrival at the hospital. Clarissa immediately asked the staff on duty where the orchid room was.

Because Clarissa had been told by mommy Alexa, that Chole was in the orchid room.

With fast and big steps, Clarissa walked towards the orchid room which turned out to be on the 4th floor of this hospital.

"Chole, mommy will be here soon."

But since the orchid room is on the 4th floor. Clarissa naturally chose to take the elevator.

In the elevator. Clarissa occasionally tapped her feet on the floor, feeling that the elevator she was using was taking too long to run.

But suddenly Clarissa's mind drifted imagining Chole's current state.

A sigh was heard from Clarissa's mouth before Clarissa finally got out of the elevator that was already open.

"Hopefully Chole is okay, and hopefully Chole won't be angry with me," Clarissa muttered.

Clarissa kept walking fast but suddenly Clarissa was hit by someone and Clarissa fell.

Brakk.

"Ows," Clarissa groaned.

But Clarissa saw no sign of the person who had bumped into her helping her.

Annoyed Clarissa got up from her position. "Ish, if you walk, use your eyes. Don't use your knees."

"I should be the one who said that to you," said someone who had been hit by Clarissa. Which turned out to be a man.

Clarissa reflexively glared at the man. But when about to call out his frustration.

Clarissa suddenly remembered something. Clarissa narrowed her eyes.

"Aren't you the man who was to run into me this morning?" Clarissa asked to make sure of her vision.

"Whoa."

"That's right. You're the crazy guy who wore the glasses this morning?!" Clarissa exclaimed excitedly.

The man stared flatly at Clarissa. "I'm not a madman."

"Huh, I don't care. What's clear is that you almost hurt me twice?!" cried Clarissa.

"It's not my fault, it's all your fault," replied the man.

Clarissa's eyes suddenly widened in disbelief.

"What?! My fault?! And not yours?!"

"Heh, Mr. I almost got hurt, I even fell because of you earlier," Clarissa exclaimed annoyed.

"I don't care if you fall or get hurt," replied the man as he walked away from Clarissa.

Clarissa who saw that suddenly stared in disbelief at the man's back.

"You annoying madman," Clarissa screamed, before finally turning around and walking back into the orchid room.

The man only smiled slightly hearing Clarissa's scream, before finally continuing to walk.

"Ish. A very annoying man. He should apologize to me," Clarissa grumbled.

"If only I was busy today. I will chase that man and scold him again, and force him to apologize to me."

Arriving Clarissa in front of the orchid room. Clarissa paused for a moment as she thought.

"Come in. Don't come in. Come in. Don't come in."

"Yes, come on in, don't you think," Clarissa shouted.

And when Clarissa was about to open the door of the room. The door opened first.

Ceklek.

"Oh, Clarissa has come?" asked mommy Alexa with a sweet smile.

Clarissa reflexively nodded her head and smiled a little. "Yes mommy."

"Come on in," said mommy Alexa.

Clarissa nodded again. "Yes mommy."

Clarissa and mommy Alexa walked closer to Chole who was sleeping comfortably on the hospital bed.

"Huh, Chole is sleeping. But since you've arrived, Mommy wants to go buy food first," said Mommy Alexa.

"Mommy, I'm sorry. I didn't buy anything earlier because Clarissa was too worried and wanted to come to the hospital immediately," Clarissa said with a guilty face.

Mommy Alexa smiled a little. "It's okay. There's a lot of good food at this hospital."

"Well then, mommy will entrust Chole with you," said mommy Alexa.

Clarissa nodded her head. "Yes mommy."

Mommy Alexa walked out of the room leaving Clarissa and Chole in the room.

As soon as Clarissa saw that mommy Alexa was no longer in the room. Clarissa immediately patted her forehead.

"Clarissa stupid."

"Clarissa stupid."

"If you go to the hospital, you have to bring fruit or other food, right? And you didn't bring anything? It's embarrassing," Clarissa muttered while slapping her forehead repeatedly.

But Clarissa's hand suddenly stopped when a hand held her down. Clarissa reflexively looked at the hand.

"Mommy."

Clarissa saw that Chole had woken up with a small smile on her lips that looked pale.

"Chole."

Clarissa quickly hugged Chole's body. "Sorry. Sorry. Mommy apologizes to Chole."

"It's okay mommy," Chole replied while returning Clarissa's hug.

"Mommy's sorry. Sorry for forgetting mommy's promise. Mommy breaks that promise," Clarissa said in a very guilty voice.

"It's okay. Grandma said mommy was busy with mommy's work. So Chole didn't have a problem l," Chole replied.

Clarissa felt even more guilty when she heard Chole's reply.

"I'm sorry, Chole can be angry with mommy, Chole doesn't need to hold it in," Clarissa said while hugging Chole tighter.

But suddenly Clarissa felt wet in her chest. Clarissa reflexively let go of the hug.

Then Clarissa saw that Chole was already crying profusely.

"Mommy. Chole was very sad when mommy didn't come home yesterday to play with Chole. Chole always thought that mommy would leave Chole again."

"Chole doesn't want that to happen again. Chole wants mommy to always be beside Chole."

Clarissa fell silent. Because somehow Clarissa really felt sad. Clarissa really felt her chest tighten when she saw Chole's face which looked pale and with tears that kept flowing.

"Why do I feel claustrophobic?"

"Why do I feel this really sick."

"And supposedly, normally, I don't care even when any little kid asks me to play."

"But why is Chole so different? Why?"

Because Clarissa can't find the answer. Clarissa chose to hug Chole again while occasionally using the word sorry and allowing herself and Chole to shed their own tears.

"Chole loves mommy. So don't leave Chole," Chole muttered.

Clarissa nodded her head. "Mommy loves Chole too."

However, Clarissa and Chole did not realize that someone was watching the two of them from the front door, which was slightly open, with a look that looked full of meaning.

"May you continue to be together, and may you always be happy. I wish it did."
