Chapter 2 - Chole's Grandma

"Who's Chole in the park with? Mommy doesn't see any adults around here?" Clarissa asked.

Chole seemed to wipe the tears that were in his eyes, then Chloe replied, "Chole went with grandma."

"Then where is Chloe's grandmother?"

"I don't know. Grandma was gone a long time. Even though Chloe just asked Grandma to buy ice cream."

"Chole is upset. That's why Chole walks through the park hoping to meet grandma. But instead of Chole meeting grandma. Chole actually meets mommy," explained Chole with a sweet smile.

"At first. Chole didn't believe that the woman sitting here was mommy. But Chole had a hunch that mommy was mommy Chole."

"Moreover, the characteristics that grandma told Chole, are really the same as when Chole saw mommy."

"Mommy looks radiant when the evening light hits mommy's face. Mommy looks like a princess," explained Chole with a small laugh.

"This girl's hunch is really bad," Clarissa said in her heart.

But even so, Clarissa kept smiling, because Chole had been praising her.

"Mommy is the queen, while Chole is the princess. Because Chole is mommy's princess," Clarissa said as she poked Chole's nose.

"Mommy. Mommy makes me blush," said Chole as he covered his cheeks.

And when Clarissa looked at Chole's cheek. Clarissa laughed, because both parts of the girl's cheeks were already red.

"Ugh. You're so cute," Clarissa exclaimed.

Then Clarissa hugged Chole, because Clarissa couldn't stand the very adorable sight.

"Chole is really happy to meet mommy," said Chole.

"Mommy is also happy to meet Chole," Clarissa replied.

"Yes, although I don't know. Who is this little girl? But I have to make her a little happy. Because soon she will definitely meet her grandma again," Clarissa said in her heart.

But when Clarissa was enjoying Chole's embrace. Suddenly someone shouted.

"Cholee. Cholee. Where are you honey."

Chole reflexively let go of his arm. And ran towards the sound.

Clarissa automatically looked at Chole. Which turned out to be Chole running toward the old woman.

"She must be Chole's grandma. Thank goodness," Clarissa muttered.

Because Clarissa saw, Chole was being hugged tightly by the middle-aged woman.

Clarissa also chose to get up from her seat and walked away leaving Chole who was still engrossed in his arms with the middle-aged woman.

But it had only been a while since Clarissa had walked. Clarissa suddenly felt someone grab her hand.

Clarissa's reflex looked at the person who had grabbed her hand.

"Mommy," Chole called, tears starting to roll down her cheeks.

Clarissa frantically aligns her body with Chole.

"Chole why are you crying? That middle-aged woman isn't Chole's grandma?" Clarissa asked.

Chole shook his head, which mama made Clarissa quickly cover Chole's body behind her.

Because Clarissa saw, the middle-aged woman was already standing in front of her.

"Don't kidnap this kid. She's my son," Clarissa said with a glare.

But the middle-aged woman just smiled a little. Making Clarissa sharpen her gaze even more.

"Don't smile like that. You look like a very bad criminal," Clarissa exclaimed.

"Wahh, this is not true. I have to call the police right now," Clarissa said.

Because the middle-aged woman didn't walk away from Clarissa and Chole either.

But just as Clarissa was about to call the police station. Chole pulled the shirt Clarissa.

"Calm down, honey. Mommy will call the police. So Chole is not afraid and crying anymore," Clarissa said while stroking Chole's hair.

But again when Clarissa was about to call the police station. Chole pulled out the clothes that Clarissa was wearing.

"Mommy," Chole called.

"Calm down dear, Chole is now safe with mommy," Clarissa said.

"But mommy. The person mommy said was a criminal is Chole's grandma," Chole squeaked.

"Huh what?!" cried Clarissa in shock.

But quickly Clarissa looked at the middle-aged woman with Chole in turn.

"Seriously, that middle-aged woman is Chole's grandma?" Clarissa asked.

Chole nodded his head. "Yeah, that's Chole's grandma."

"Then why was Chole crying?" asked Clarissa in surprise.

"Because Chole is afraid that mommy will leave again," Chole squeaked.

But Clarissa only looked at Chole's eyes which were still shedding tears.

"Earlier. Chole saw that mommy was about to walk away from Chole. Chole reflexively ran while crying. Mommy shouldn't have gone. If mommy is angry with Chole, it's okay. But don't leave Chole," said Chole while looking at Clarissa.

Clarissa took a deep breath, then Clarissa hugged Chole lovingly.

"Don't cry anymore. You already have a grandma, so Chole can't be sad like this," Clarissa said.

"But Chole doesn't want to be with grandma, grandpa, and daddy only. Chole also wants to be with mommy," Chole exclaimed as he let go of Clarissa's arms.

"Why is that?" Clarissa asked.

"Because mommy is Chole's mommy. So Chole wants to be with mommy," Chole replied with teary eyes.

Clarissa rubbed the back of her neck confused to hear Chole's words.

"Ouch, Chole really seems to think I'm her mommy," Clarissa said in her heart.

And inadvertently Clarissa looked at the middle-aged woman who was coolly looking at her and at Chole.

"Shit. I had the wrong idea with Chole's grandma," Clarissa said in it.

Clarisa quickly got up from her position and bend his body.

"Sorry Chole's grandma. I didn't know that you were really Chole's grandma," Clarissa said guiltily.

"It's an okay sweetie. I understand," replied Chole's grandmother with a small smile.

Clarissa, who heard Chole's grandma's reply, breathed a sigh of relief. But when Clarissa is about to return to talk to Chole's grandma.

Suddenly Clarissa's hand was pulled by Chole.

"Come on mommy. We're going home. Daddy must be waiting for mommy at home," said Chole excitedly.

Clarissa was silent because she didn't know how to answer. Until then, Clarissa stroked Chole's hair lovingly.

"Sorry Chole. Mommy can't go home with Chole," Clarissa said guiltily.

"Why?" Chole asked curiously.

The confused Clarissa looked at Chole's grandmother as if asking for help.

"Grandma, mommy can you go home?" asked Chole with a twinkle in his eye.
