Calico... I knew he was interesting before but he's even more splendid than I had imagined.
All those tactics he came up with even though being severely outclassed by Draven make him invaluable.

Announcer: And on to the next match for today; Versi Coldherten vs Henry versel.
[Versi quietly walked down from his stand which is the opposite of his flamboyant behavior, his eyes focused on Aiden who was playing and chattering with his friends.]
[He walked into the dome and met Henry there. But his eyes were still directed toward Aiden]
Versi: Hm...
Henry: Are you still thinking about how this year lower classes are stronger than expected?
Versi: Yes... especially that one.
[He used his eyes to signify who he was talking about, Henry turned his head and saw it was Aiden he was referring to.]
Henry: I heard you fought him in the forest and you-
Versi: Don't complete that sentence, it never happened! I am Versi Coldherten! And I will not be outdone by commoners or fallen Nobels! Jack was just weak, I am strong and I will prove so by effortlessly defeating you, Versel! I who is loved by fire and is in love with fire!!
Henry's POV
*Sigh*
I knew he was always like this even as a kid, as his best friend I suffer from secondhand embarrassment when he talks like this,
Sure he's father is affluent but Versi is a total idiot and his sister is the smart one.
I've said this to his face multiple times but he keeps saying that's not true, I think he's delusional or something.
Anyways, My father and his are business partners so I and he ended up meeting and I've considered him a friend ever since but he's still an idiot...
Back to our fathers and other upper classed people, they have a disdain towards the lower class, you know, Commoners, peasants, slaves, low-class labor beasts, and other species that are lower than themselves.
*Sigh* I honestly don't see the point of the hate but I'm no better, I once saw one of our head servants assaulting one of our Demi-human slave workers...
Demi-humans and other species usually physically age slower than regular humans, their bodies don't match up to their ages, one demi-human can be 70 and look 17 or 170 and not look a day past 30, their age limit is 300(depending on species) so after 200 hundred they start to age normally.
And funny enough when they're in their teenage years they look the part, so it's kinda impossible to know how old they are unless they confirm it themselves.
Looks can be deceiving, so I don't quite know her actual age but she looked young.
When I caught him doing the unspeakable with her I couldn't do anything I just pretended not to see so I wouldn't get involved.
Do I feel bad? Yes, but I don't feel bad enough to want to intervene.
But at the same time, I'm not free of the guilt of letting it happen, letting others suffer, I let it happen, I watched it happen and did nothing... I'm too scared to do anything neither do I want to.
I'm just going to this school because I don't trust Versi on his own and I'm keeping an eye out for him... Well, that might not be my only reason but that's what I've got for now...

Aiden: Hm? what's this I'm feeling? Replacement?
Akeru: What's wrong Aiden?
Aiden: I feel like my job as the MC is being given to someone else!
Akeru:MC?
Draven: You're delusional if you think you're a main character, you have main character syndrome.
Aiden: It's not a syndrome you supporting character! If I so wish you won't appear for thousands of arcs!
Draven: Why are you talking like this is a storyline? And besides, I'd make a better main character than you.
Aiden: Dream on golden boy. Dream on.

Announcer: Begin!
[Versi condensed big balls of lava on his hands and threw them at Henry]
Versi: Argh! Oof! Ouch!
[Versi was pushed backward.]
Henry: You know if this is all you can do against me you should just leave the ring.
Versi: I forgot about that insufferable ability of yours; Magical reflection...
Henry: It's insufferable for me as well.

Aiden: Magical reflection?
Draven: It's an ability that lets him reflect magical attacks onto the sender.
Aiden: Hm?
Draven: For example now: If I shot a light-based attack at him I would feel the pain and the impact instead and he would remain unharmed.
Aiden: That sounds awesome like a main character-level cheat ability!
Draven: If you think it's a cheat now you should also know that it happens automatically, even if he's ambushed by magical attacks his ability would kick in unbeknownst to him and returns the attack to the sender, and the return of the attacks is also inevitable since they don't travel back it just hits.
Aiden: So HE'S the one trying to take my Job as the MC! No, I won't stand for it! All I've got is fire but everyone else got way cooler abilities! It's not fair!
Draven: If we ever have to fight him I doubt even we can win.
Aiden: Hehe.
-Ahh, this school's filled with awesome guys, some are gonna give me some serious competition, Kh-Kh-Kh, I'm even more interested in going here now.

[Versi staggered to get up]
Versi: Tch!
Henry: You know there's no shame in admitting that you're hurt.
Versi: Pfft! Tis' but a scratch.
Henry: *Sigh* if you say so.
[Versi coated his fists and forearm with lava and sped towards Henry.]
Henry: Uhm, that's not any better.
Versi: Gahhh!!!
[As Versi's punch connected to Henry's torso, Versi himself got pushed back and his clothes had a burnt hole in the part where he struck Henry, while Henry remained unharmed]
Henry: *Sigh* Magic doesn't work on me at all Versi, we've known each other since we were children and no one could harm me. What makes you think you can?
Versi: They weren't me. I am the greatest fire sorcerer ever!
[Aiden chuckled in the background]
Henry: Just in case you forgot this one as well; don't think any ill-intent towards me, it'll reflect as well.
Henry's POV
Though I know he wouldn't.
He doesn't think at all.
Versi: And if I can't touch you with magic then....
[Versi stamped his hands on the floor then the ground began to shake, lava spewed from beneath the earth and filled the ring with molten rocks.]
Henry: Hot!!
[Henry jumped back by a few steps]
Henry: Heh, I see what you're doing, this lava isn't magic it's natural so it can't be reflected. Smart.
[Versi increased the pressure even more, and more lava came up to the surface.]
Henry's POV
This is kind of smart on his part. Wasn't expecting it.
Using natural elements instead of magically synthesized ones to drive me out.
My one weakness...I can't believe he knew it.
[The lava filled the ring even more and Henry was standing on the last bit of ground left.]
I can't withstand this much heat like him, I'm not fire affinity-based.
I could just attack him as he's hands are still on the ground but... I'm leaving.
[He jumped outside the ring from where he was standing.]
Henry: I need water, please.
[Two maids quickly ran to give him a cup of water]
Announcer: And the match is over! The winner is; Versi Coldherten!

Aiden: Yeah Versi! Kick that blonde-haired-blue-eyes-Job-stealing-pretty-boy outta here!!
Calico: I still can't see but who does Aiden want out of this exam so badly?
Draven: Some guy he claims is a threat to his status as a "Main character" Aiden's just delusional that's all.
Aiden: Am not!
[After this last match other sets of matches came and Victors were chosen from those bunch then those Victors would have to face the Victors of this first match's set which were;
Akeru Brightfil, Rai Crut Hallen, Acer Aldric, Brian Akill, Chase Cansi, Aiden Brightfil, Armin Clifford, Draven Lucius Apollo, and Versi Coldherten]
[In which these nine came out victorious...but there was another match that was being held after this, It was the match Ahana skywill appealed for... Boys vs girls]
Announcer: The time limit is now being reduced even more, This bonus match will last only 1 minute and 10 seconds but the rules are still the same.
