The journey in the forest was a not so thrilling journey. The thickets were not extremely deadly but the tree roots were also trip hazards that would be the cause of many deaths.
"Who is he?" The First Generation Moon Champion asked.
"Our future Soul Mate." Violet answered.
That alone was enough to tell the Moon Champion that these women were extremely protected by the man who was the Demon King.
"Well, that is unexpected. What else can you tell me about him?"
"Oh. You just wanted pure information on him." Violet was excited.
The other four felt it funny that she was trying to show off Rex in all of their light.
"Well, first he is the man who had to deal with all of our destructive emotions." Violet smiled like a child seeing a massive lollipop.
Sweat rolled down the First Generation Moon Champion's back. Destructive emotions could honestly go in any direction in her mind.
"What kind of Destructive Emotions do you five have?" She barely whispered.
"Well, she likes things to go boom in many ways. She likes to make things disappear from the earth. I like to make sure that all returns to nothingness. As for those two, their emotions depend on the day of the week." Violet pointed.
Hearing go boom, things disappear, returns to nothingness, and depends on the day of the week. The First Generation Moon Champion felt that these five were honestly the daughters of the Three Major Sects and their maids.
She did not know of them personally. Their emotional outbursts always make people fear what actually happens when they are angered or worst.
Seeing the man who can handle all of them just simply crush her leg. She felt a lot of relief that she survived the battle.
"Now that the part of our emotions is over. Let us talk about more about his journey. He got a Soul Mate of Lilith in the Demon Realm. He will be getting a Heavenly Guard and Soldier as a Soul Mate as well."
Hearing that he already has a Soul Mate in Lilith meant she knew who he already was and did not think to ask who he actually was instead thought that he was someone else.
"Please stop and turn me around." She asked.
They did just that. The First Generation Moon Champion knelt down again.
"I have heard of you and did not recognize that you were the current Demon King. I thought that another Demon King had come in and needed to be killed. I am sorry for trying to even try and battle you." She spoke truthfully.
Those words echoed in the dark forest. The forest seemed to become quiet to hear the response from Rex.
"I accept your apology. Although, your leg can be recovered. I have to see if you truly are able to healed without trying to backstab me." Rex said.
The reason why he can that is because when he crushed the leg. He made sure to keep enough of his around her leg. This is to ensure that he can crush it again or heal it when necessary.
"Thank you." She got up with help.
As the group journeyed into her home. They all saw what would look like a fairytale cabin in the secluded forest. A fire going because of the chimney smoke.
The cabin was not huge and not just a simple cabin either. This cabin was either simple at first and a lot added on or the cabin was built and it took a good few years for it to become what it is.
"A beautiful place." Rex spoke.
"Thank you." The First Generation Moon Champion spoke.
The women, Rex and the two other champions entered her house. The Beastmen and spiders all set up tents and fires.
Inside the cabin
"Is there another Moon Champion close by?" Rex asked taking her comfortable chair.
"Yes. He is over the third hill. He is a current generation Moon Champion. Instead of Beastmen and Nature, he has an unique Moon Ability like me. His is future sight. As long as the Moon or Moon-like thing is in the sky he can always predict the future. As to where that future leads, that depends on him."
"So his ability is similar to the Demon King of Desires and Demon King of Will?" Rex asked.
"No. He cannot Will or ask for anything. He can just see that the tree root over there for instance." She pointed outside her window. "He might see himself or someone he knows trips and falls. So he may decide to tell his friends to stay away from my cabin to ensure that they do not trip. That can change what he saw but that trip will still occur somewhere else."
"A future that can change its end result but the action of that will still happen?" Rex asked.
"Yeah. So that trip as long as he wanted it to could happen close to his home where everyone would be either more protected or able to recover quickly instead of being on the backtrack of a beast's maw."
That seemed a good ability for Rex to try and keep by his side. What if he could use that ability to sacrifice for the Demon King of Will? What if he tried to pull the strings to allow himself to be sacrificed instead of someone else?
"A good ability like his seems like a perfect pawn." Rex thought.
"Does he plan to try and leave?" Rex asked.
"He did not say anything about leaving."
"Good." Rex smiled and it looked evil.
Everyone seemed to back away just a little. Rex walked out and ran across to meet this little Moon Champion. His thoughts on the uniqueness of his ability.
"A perfect substitute for my friend. I must remember the end goal." Rex thought.
He would try to become good friends with the Moon Champion only to see him send himself to the grave early.
