As dusk descended, a growl came from the darkness. It was just loud enough for the people to hear it. It was a very dangerous big cat that had followed the sisters.
"Stand Strong." Rex spoke.
Everyone did. As the predator came from the darkness and made its presence. Most of them faltered.
"The Night Stalker!" The Beastmen cried.
Their fear making them forget who was leading them.
"Night Stalker or not. Prepare to engage." Rex ordered.
The Beastmen began to fall back which caused everyone else to. Rex felt their fear and it disgusted him. The Night Stalker did the same and smiled as this was its plan.
"Foolish house cats. Who dares to lead you back?" Rex spoke.
The group stopped and listened to Rex's.
"For who does not stand with shall allow the innocent people and women to die a cruel death."
His words struck the Beastmen because this predator was something that took a lot for them to handle. Even some of the greatest teams could barely kill one much less this group.
"If any person wishes to fight to the death. I welcome them in my arms. Those who wish for the death shall give their lives to this beast now."
The grandchild made his way up. He had been pushed back by the Beastmen. When he made his way up. He stood fearful in front of this beast but his determination was stronger to live.
"I will fight." He declared.
Rex smiled. The Ancient Zuggurant began to give the grandchild decent armor. The spider gave him the ability throw webs at the beast. The Demon King of Will gave him a new weapon.
The armor that was given to him was blacker than the beast itself. This gave the beast a disgusted feeling. When the blade was handed to him, fear crept into the beast. For the blade was looked brand new and shined brighter than the sun on a midday in the summer.
"The armor of Greatest Demon ever forged. The Black Armor of Protection. The sword of your grandfather. The sword that pierces the sun, The Sun Piercer." The Demon King of Will spoke.
Of course he and Rex knew that this was going to happen. By giving him such good weaponry and armor the others would lose their fear by seeing them being equipped with such good weapons.
"For my Family, for the Dawn that my Family will see." The grandchild shouted.
The mother and sister blushed at his response. The two sisters felt their hearts fluttering. This battle would forever change the grandchild and the women who watched.
"My children who dares to step back when I am here?" The spider spoke.
Her children came from the back jumping over the Beastmen.
"Good. Your courage will not go unnoticed." She spoke.
The six spiders roared. This caused the beast to frown seeing them ready for battle.
The Beastmen felt bad. They knew how strong this beast was.
"So much for Beastmen who were proud. They are more like house cats that walk on two legs." The Ancient Zuggurant spoke.
This caused the Beastmen to get angered. They still felt gaze of the Night Stalker making them fearful.
"I have seen humans who were more to sacrifice their worthless bodies to ensure their survival." The spider spoke.
The Beastmen could feel their blood boiling with how angry they were becoming. The gaze of the Night Stalker became less fearful.
"Women belong in the backfires cheering their husbands and children on. Not in front like a shield. If that is how you feel, then stay behind and see how real women fight and not cowards." Rex spoke.
His women walked up rubbing their hands ready for the battle to start. This was the final straw for the Beastmen. This Night Stalker would no longer be a thorn in their side.
Roars happened to enter the ears of the people. Within moments after the Night Stalker's roared entered the fray.
"CHARGE! FOR NONE SHALL DIE ON MY BATTLEFIELD THAT I CONTROL!" Rex roared.
The clash of the two sides happened. The Beastmen more feral than men now. Nothing stopped them from biting, clawing, and trying to knock down the Night Stalker.
The Night Stalker knew that it could not longer use it resourceful gaze. So it was going to showcase it's strength but it failed as so many attacks hit it at once.
It's body quickly battered and bleeding from multiple spots. The beast able to get enough strength to shake off all bodies. It did more damage than good.
"Pierce through this darkness!" The words stunned the group.
The grandchild forced an attack through the Night Stalker splitting it in half. The beast did not know it died until the halves began to fall in opposite sides.
"VICTORY!" The grandchild shouted.
No cheers were shouted. Because what was behind the grandchild was a silhouette of the First Saint.
"My ole friend." The Demon King of Will cried.
"Welcome back." Rex spoke.
As they spoke, the silhouette faded. The grandchild bulked up. His voice deepened, the armor shined even in the darkness, the sword glowed even in the sheath, his hair grew longer and became bright blonde, and his facial structure looked more like Saint.
"Yup. This is what I needed to see." The Demon King of Will told Rex.
"He will become a shining light in everyone's sight." Rex replied.
Everyone else instinctively bowed. The women belonging to Rex did not feel it. The Demon King of Will felt the force and blocked it for Rex and his women. The women who were going to the grandchild felt that this aura was not one for them to bow to but to rush to.
They did just that. Their hugs caused him to feel their worry of him wanting to become a man worthy of not only them but the future women he will have.
The sisters felt that the man in front of them would surely become someone worthy of following as a Wife, Concubine, or even a Maid. They did not care nor would the others who would follow after.
