It was slightly after dark, Rex had walked back to where they were camped. He did not want to use the Ancient Zuggurant's power because he knew he would get into trouble.
Instead of trouble, he did not know that the women were actually going to praise him for this day. He actually got help Instead of shouldering everything himself.
As the fruits from the trees were still not truly edible. Rex had no choice but to come back empty-handed. This was something that he was not currently proud of.
As he neared the camp, he found the women silently waiting. They had a pot of stuff on. Once he finally neared the camp, their smiling faces were a sign to him of something bad going to happen.
"Welcome back, were you able to find any good fruits?" Iris asked.
"I'm sorry. Nearly all I saw were poisoned or something had taken a bite out of it." Rex replied sadly.
"Well, alright. Come on in and join us for supper." Liz spoke.
Rex was honestly confused as to why they were acting strange. He did not want to push his luck currently.
As he sat down, Amber to nudge him from the back. He looked up and found that she was actually trying to help him relax because he was tense.
"Why?" The thought came into his mind.
This just made him even tenser. Violet noticed the rise in tension around Rex. She decided to try something.
"Hey, honey, do you want to try laying down?" She asked.
Rex questioned himself on trying to lay down. He decided to.
Violet made a earth bed she used her Qi to help Rex relax. As he laid down, he felt the tension trying to leave him. He honestly felt much better.
"Here is your bowl." Margaret spoke.
As Rex tried what was in the bowl, the chuncky bites of meat were soft and tender, the pieces of vegetables were a weird taste of of many flavors that seemed to make the meat taste better, and the liquid seemed to remind him of soup.
"Delicious!" He happily spoke.
As he continued to devour the contents of the bowl. The women all watched him just happily eat. One of the few times that they had all agreed on soup for supper and the ingredients were their own choice expect for the meat.
The meat was provided by the Beastmen. Their experience in getting meat that can be used by most vegetables were spectacular at worst.
The group willing to share the soup. As everyone enjoyed the evening supper, everyone tried to enjoy themselves even as tension was there.
Rex just naturally made the tension worst as he came back. Once he had calmed down enough, the tension in the group went away.
"This is just simply delicious." Rex said on his second bowl.
Everyone chuckled. The atmosphere around them happy.
The Ancient Zuggurant felt the rise and decrease of Moon energy in the distance. He went forward. He froze as he felt the blades come down.
He dodged by a breadth. He looked at who was standing there. A man standing no more hip height, chucky from having extremely wide and broad shoulders, his body full of muscle, a long beard that was crimson in color, and his hair a long blonde.
"Greetings, can I know why another Moon blessed is around here?" The man spoke in a deep voice.
"We are on the hunt for them. There is a dungeon that is needed to be completed." The Ancient Zuggurant spoke.
"This means that I am not welcome in the group, then." The man spoke.
As the Ancient Zuggurant sat down. The man did too, the Ancient Zuggurant understood why he said what he said.
The man was not completely blessed by a moon but a weird occurance were the sun and moon both blessed at the same time.
"I am sure that you can come as well." The Ancient Zuggurant spoke.
"If only Rex was around, he would know what to do." The man spoke.
The Ancient Zuggurant afraid of why this man knows Rex. He wanted to know and it was plain as day on his face.
"I know Rex from my bloodline. He helped train my grandfather who was a Hero." The man spoke.
"Very well. We can go to him. Just try to not increase tensions around there." The Ancient Zuggurant warned him.
"With my face, any man or woman would look at me and run with the tails wrapped around their legs." The man laughed.
The duo went back to camp with the Ancient Zuggurant leading.
"Welcome back, Ancient Zuggurant." Rex spoke.
As the man walked from behind the Ancient Zuggurant, Rex immediately recognized him as the Hero who he trained so long ago.
"Welcome back ole friend." Rex spoke up.
"That ole friend is my grandfather from so many generations before." The man spoke up.
They both got a bowl of soup and sat down waiting to talk to Rex.
