As the Ancient Zuggurant returned to his home. The first group from the Beastmen had left a few hours before.
"Well, look what we have here." The Ancient Zuggurant spoke.
Seeing the six well groomed spiders, the Ancient Zuggurant knew that she was preparing for her death. The Ancient Zuggurant knew that this would not happen.
"I bet the Beastmen also are sending some people." The Ancient Zuggurant thought.
As the Ancient Zuggurant sat down. He motioned for the spider to come over and join.
"I suspect that the Beastmen Race will also send some people to join. Not that I doubt you will survive, but this is to ensure that the arena will be protected and that Tex will have proper manpower." The Ancient Zuggurant smugly spoke.
"Master, that is Rex." The shortest man made sure to let him know his mistake.
"My bad." The Ancient Zuggurant replied.
"For Rex to have proper manpower at least three of us need to enter the dungeon with him. I have the most weaknesses of anyone of us. I can also cover more than most as well. So the likely hood of me dying is at the most." The spider spoke.
The other spiders were upset but this would continue as they heard that their mother would very possibly die.
"Instead of thinking unpositive think more of a broader picture. We have two of the champions. We know that wherever one lives, another lives ad well. Once our blood is collected, we do not have to enter.
We just allow the ones traveling with us enter the dungeon. The doors will be heavier than expected, their height more than likely will not allow us to enter, finally the scariest part is that we won't know how to enter the dungeon but only Tex will."
Hearing that the Ancient Zuggurant once again call Rex the wrong name. The shortest man decided to write the name on a paper for the Ancient Zuggurant to keep.
"Weird indeed." The spider spoke.
The Ancient Zuggurant did not tell her that he tried to enter alone before. When he finally, opened the doors he could not physically enter because of his height in opening the doors.
"I will dread the day when I see that dungeon again. This time, I am prepared to use everything I can to help the man out." Words flowed into the Ancient Zuggurant's mind and he slowly spoke the five words.
Even the spider knew what the Ancient Zuggurant was thinking. She also dreaded the day when their power was no longer needed.
A decision as to either wait for a couple of days to ensure the Beastmen arrive or not came into the Ancient Zuggurant's mind. The same thought came into the spider's.
"Everyone listen," the Ancient Zuggurant spoke in a commanding tone.
Everyone listened even the weakest of spiders.
"We have a choice to make and a decision to follow. The Beastmen Race will be heading to where Tex is. The old abandoned arena is where he and his wives are.
We can either wait for a few days to ensure that they arrive safely or we can try to beat them there. What do we do?"
Everyone thought hard about this.
"I think we wait. My belief on it is that if Rex does want the Beastmen to join, he has time for them to explain themselves." The shortest man spoke.
The spiders began clicking their legs in telling what they wanted.
"They agree with that statement. If the Beastmen truly want to join, when we show up. Rex will without a doubt protect us. The Beastmen may not be under his protection when we show up. That is their thinking." The spider spoke.
"Very well. We wait, I will inform you all when they arrive and we will wait till everyone of them as arrived at the arena to ensure that the encounter goes smoothly." The Ancient Zuggurant spoke and faded into the earth.
This shocked the spiders because they could be stepping unto their death without even realizing it.
"Truly a man worthy of the Nature Moon." The spider spoke.
"That ability is just the basic of the basics from what the Ancient Zuggurant told me."
The spider feared what other powers she did not know of from the other moons.
